Existing dining and warehouse space was remodeled to accommodate a
new culinary arts program. The project featured gas-fired heating and
direct expansion (DX) cooling rooftop air handling units, three Type-I
kitchen hoods with exhaust and make-up air, direct digital control
(DDC) automation system, two high efficiency domestic hot water heaters,
a new 1,200 gallon grease interceptor, a fully automatic sprinkler
system, redesign of existing lighting system, an upgraded electrical
distribution system, modification of the existing fire alarm system,
and new telecom and security systems.
