This new facility brings together campus faculty, students and programs.
The facility includes two, five-level instructional and office facilities,
which are connected by an enclosed second-floor bridge. The facility
features a 600-seat auditorium with extensive acoustic attenuation, smart
classrooms, interview/observation, video/studio, and server rooms, various
sized classrooms and offices, as well as meeting rooms and student community
lounges.
The feature mechanical systems of the facility include: 24x7 cooling
for the data center, VAV air handling systems, DDC/BAS automation, CO2 and
outdoor air IAQ controls and full sprinkler coverage. Electrical systems
include: Genset and power conditioning, data cabling infrastructure,
normal power and emergency generators and power conditioning, acoustical
evaluation of air handling systems, smart classrooms, CO2 demand
controlled ventilation, specialty low voltage lighting controls, audio/visual
system interfacing, fire alarm, security camera and card access, and
building lighting controls.
