SBEC acted as prime consultant
on this project and arranged for architectural and structural engineering
sub-consultant services. The project entailed the addition of two new
rooftop air handlers on the roof directly above
the O.R. suites. Structural beams were added in order to provide the
necessary structural support.
The design and construction was phased to allow one room to stay in
operation while the other room was being renovated.
