For this new boiler plant, SBEC designed the power distribution and
grounding for the new boilers and boiler building. The project consisted
of the upgrade of existing emergency generator building transfer switch
and distribution panel to feed new building, the design of infrastructure
for future expansion, power distribution for new pumps and mechanical
equipment in the new building, design of indoor/outdoor lighting systems
and lighting controls, design of new fire alarm system and control
panel and the design of pathways for temperature control cabling. SBEC
coordinated electrical contractor’s scope with manufacturer’s
equipment drawings.
