Shaffer • Baucom Engineering & Consulting offers multiple project document production options for clients, including Autodesk Revit® MEP. Revit® MEP software allows SBEC engineers to optimize systems engineering through data-driven system sizing and design. By utilizing Revit® MEP, SBEC engineers can improve productivity, accuracy, and coordination with Autodesk technology.

In addition, this software allows SBEC engineers to enhance documentation and communication between design professionals and clients; help minimize liability exposure; and deliver a superior product to the client.

At SBEC, we are continually upgrading our in-house expertise to better serve our clients and integrate our designs with the architecture and structure of each building.

In conjunction with Autodesk Revit ®, SBEC utilizes Autodesk NavisWorks® which provides stakeholders with a whole project view for improving design decision-making, construction documentation, and performance prediction and planning, straight through to management and operation of the facility. Essentially, this software allows the stakeholders to “experience the project before it’s real” by enabling pre-visualization of construction projects. This software offers real-time navigation, photorealistic visualization, object animation capabilities, collision detection and more.
